FAQ
About Amersia & Woven
AI infrastructure for the creative industries. Built by filmmakers, for filmmakers.
Amersia is a technology company founded by people who spent twenty-five years making films, high-end television and branded content.
Our core product is Woven: a production platform designed to bring people, AI models, creative assets and workflows together in one professional environment.
We are also making Critterz, a full-length family animated feature from Amersia and Nelson Kleverov, on Woven, to test and prove the platform in real-world production.
Woven is the AI-native production environment for film, TV and brand teams. Built by filmmakers, for filmmakers.
It gives production teams one environment to organise projects, scenes, shots, takes, characters and assets while working across leading generative AI models.
Generating the shot is only the beginning. The real challenge is everything around it, and that's what Woven is built for.
Woven is built for professional production. That includes studios, production companies, broadcasters, agencies and creative teams looking to integrate generative AI into established production workflows.
You don't need to be an AI expert to use Woven. You need to know how to make great content.
Not in the traditional sense. Amersia is a technology company. Our primary business is building and licensing Woven to third-party production teams.
We also develop our own IP, beginning with Critterz. This gives us the opportunity to put Woven through the demands of a real production while developing original entertainment properties with commercial potential.
No. Our goal isn't to build a consultancy around AI. Our goal is to give production companies the platform, knowledge and capability to integrate AI into their own productions.
We help teams bring AI into the way they already work. Where they need it, an AI Supervisor works alongside the team on a production and trains their people to run it themselves. Then we step back.
The objective isn't dependence on Amersia. It's independence with Woven.
Talent is universal. Opportunity is not. The Amersia Foundation backs creative talent the industry shuts out, with five commitments built into the company from day one: five per cent of our equity, profit, product, time and opportunity.
That means free Woven for talent locked out of the industry, real credits on every production, and mentoring from people who have backed new talent for twenty-five years.
Using Woven
Woven is the production environment rather than a single generative model. It connects production teams with leading AI models while keeping the project, assets, context, versions and workflow organised around the production.
That means your team can choose the right model for each creative task without rebuilding the production around each new piece of technology.
No. Every frontier model. One workflow.
AI technology is evolving incredibly quickly, and different models are better at different things. Woven is designed to be model-neutral, allowing teams to work across leading creative AI models while keeping the production itself consistent.
The models will keep changing. Your production shouldn't have to.
No. We believe the most powerful application of AI is to extend what talented creative and production teams can do.
Producers still produce. Directors still direct. Artists still make creative decisions.
AI gives those people new capabilities. Woven gives them the environment to use those capabilities professionally.
Yes. We don't believe production companies should have to abandon everything they already know in order to use AI.
Woven is designed to bring AI into professional production structures and workflows. Our approach is simple: keep what works. Improve what doesn't.
Yes, and in many cases that's the best way to begin.
Bring one production onto Woven. Identify where AI can make the biggest difference. Establish the workflows. Learn what works. Then take that knowledge into the next production.
Start with one production. Learn. Then scale.
AI Supervisors
An AI Supervisor is a specialist production role designed for AI-native production.
Working alongside producers, directors and creative teams, they help identify where AI can add value, establish workflows, select the right models and techniques, maintain consistency and help the wider team work effectively with the technology.
They understand AI. More importantly, they understand production.
An AI Supervisor helps turn rapidly changing AI technology into a practical production workflow.
They can help teams design workflows, choose appropriate models, establish processes for maintaining consistency, support creative teams and evaluate new tools as the technology evolves.
Their role isn't to take over the production. It's to help the production get more from AI and Woven. Our objective isn't to build a consulting relationship around your use of AI. It's to give your team the capability to run AI-native productions themselves.
No. Woven is designed to be used independently by production teams.
AI Supervisors are available for organisations that want additional expertise while introducing AI-native workflows, building internal capability or tackling particularly ambitious productions.
Not necessarily. Our objective is to build capability inside your production team.
The workflows you establish, the knowledge you develop and the lessons you learn can be captured within Woven and carried forward.
The objective isn't dependence on Amersia. It's independence with Woven.
Copyright, Commerce & Collaboration
We believe professional AI production needs to take rights seriously from the start.
Woven is designed to give production teams greater visibility and control over the assets, models and workflows being used throughout a production. The rights associated with AI-generated material can depend on the source material, models being used, production workflow and laws of the relevant territory.
Woven helps teams keep that process organised so rights and clearance decisions can be made deliberately rather than becoming an afterthought.
Our principle is simple: know what you're using. Know where it came from. Keep humans accountable for what gets made.
Woven is built for professional production and commercial creative workflows.
Because Woven can connect to different AI models, the terms governing generated content may vary between model providers and use cases. Production teams remain responsible for ensuring that the tools, source materials and outputs they use meet the rights and clearance requirements of their production.
Woven is designed to make that process more structured, visible and manageable.
Woven is a production platform. It does not exist to take ownership of your creative IP.
The specific rights associated with generated material can depend on the models, source materials and applicable agreements involved in a production. Production teams should therefore assess the relevant terms and rights associated with the models and materials they choose to use.
Your IP should remain your business.
AI production shouldn't be an isolated creator sitting behind a prompt box. Woven is built around collaborative production.
Producers, directors, designers, artists and other members of the production team can work around the same projects, characters, locations, assets, shots and creative context. That means AI becomes part of a shared production process rather than a collection of disconnected individual experiments.
Great production is collaborative. AI production should be too.
What you build in Woven stays yours, to use however you choose.
Characters, locations, assets, workflows, decisions and production knowledge stay organised within Woven, so your team can build on them across future productions. We build for your future, not just the show in front of you.
Your next production should start smarter than your last.
Safety, Responsibility & Community
People are. We believe AI should expand human creative capability, not remove human responsibility.
The production team remains responsible for the creative decisions it makes, the material it uses and the content it ultimately approves and delivers.
Woven provides the environment and tools. People remain accountable for the production.
Responsible AI production requires more than relying on the safeguards of an individual model. It requires thoughtful workflows, human oversight and clear production standards.
Our approach is to keep people in control of creative decisions while giving teams greater visibility over how AI is being used throughout a production.
As the technology evolves, we will continue to develop Woven's tools, workflows and policies around responsible professional use.
We believe the future of AI production has to work with the creative community, not against it.
AI should expand what producers, directors, writers, artists and designers are capable of, not diminish the value of their judgement, experience or creativity. That's why Woven is designed around professional teams and human creative decision-making.
Our ambition is not to remove people from production. It's to give creative people more powerful ways to produce.
AI will change production. We believe companies building the technology have a responsibility to help shape that change constructively.
That means listening to producers and creative teams, being transparent about how the technology is being used, supporting responsible workflows and continuing to adapt as industry standards evolve.
We don't believe anyone has all the answers yet. We do believe the industry should build them together.
Projects
Critterz is a full-length family animated feature made by Amersia and Nelson Kleverov on Woven, written by the writers of Paddington in Peru and sold worldwide by AGC Studios.
It's an entertainment property in its own right, but it also gives us the opportunity to put Woven through the demands of a real professional production. The challenges we encounter, workflows we develop and lessons we learn feed directly back into the platform.
We're making Critterz on Woven. Now it's ready for yours.
Because we believe the best production technology should be tested in production.
Making Critterz with Nelson Kleverov lets us push Woven, identify real production challenges and continually improve the platform. If the film succeeds as entertainment in its own right, it also creates an opportunity for Amersia to make more.
But our immediate commercial focus remains clear: getting Woven into the hands of professional production teams.
